Texas Big Game Awards is accepting applications for $20,000 in scholarships for students whose majors are related to agriculture or natural resources, according to a press release from the nonprofit.
Eight scholarships (one per TBGA region) awarded at $1,500 each, and the overall top scholarship applicant will receive $3,000.
Any entering college freshman (graduating high school senior), entering college sophomore or entering college junior is eligible to apply. The scholarship applications will be reviewed and ranked by a statewide scoring committee using set criteria. Applicants do not have to participate in the TBGA to be eligible for the scholarships.
The deadline is March 1.
