Joshua Creek Ranch is hosting the First Annual Texas Hill Country Shooting Classic & Sporting Expo on Saturday, June 27th.
Renowned for world-class wingshooting, deer hunting and fly-fishing along with luxury lodging, fine dining and a variety of outdoor sporting activities, Joshua Creek Ranch is modeling the sporting clays event after similar shoots and exhibitions across the country that draw national attention each year.
“We have amazing sponsorship commitments and participation for our first year so we see no reason this event can’t grow at the regional and national levels attracting shooters and sporting enthusiasts from all over,” offered Kevin Welborn, Director of Marketing, Sales & Guest Services at Joshua Creek Ranch. “With sponsors like Beretta, Orvis, Briley, Covey Rise, Sporting Classics and Lone Star Outdoor News to name a few, we have put together quite an event for shooters and sporting expo visitors.”
At the core of the event is a competitive sporting clays shoot on Joshua Creek Ranch’s scenic 15-station, fully-automatic course. The shoot will feature a Main Event with morning and afternoon flights, Lewis Class winners and concurrent event entry classes for youth, ladies, seniors, sub-gauges and sideby-sides.
“With over $20,000 in prizes and awards for the shoot surrounded by the Sporting Expo featuring booths, demos and exhibitions from some of the top sporting brands in the world, we are anticipating a great turnout that we can build on every year,” Welborn added.
