by Lili Keys

One of the best known fly fishing anglers in the world is headed to Dallas.

Lefty Kreh is set to receive the 2014 Conservation Sportsman of the Year presented by Coastal Conservation Association’s Dallas Chapter at their annual benefit on April 17.

The event will be held at the Frontiers of Flight Museum near Love Field. The festivities get started at 5:30 p.m.

Radio host Billy Kinder will emcee the event.

In addition to his fishing accomplishments, Lefty has been an active outdoor writer for more than 45 years, a renowned photographer and a retired outdoor editor at the Baltimore Sun.

This is a monumental year for CCA Texas, as Cedar Bayou is imminent to be opened this year.
