aaLSONFThe 3rd Annual Lone Star Outdoor News Foundation Wild Game Supper and Fundraiser was a smashing success thanks to more than 200 guests who came to eat, drink and support a worthwhile cause.

The event was held at the Dallas Beretta Gallery, which has hosted the celebration since its inception.

Besides a smorgasbord of wild game, including grilled mule deer backstrap, wild hog tenderloin, venison skewers and several varieties of wild sausage, guests were treated to a live auction and gun raffle.

A trophy deer hunt in Dimmitt County, inside the heart of South Texas’ golden triangle, along with a South Texas quail hunt highlighted the live auction.

A Sako Finnlight .308 was also raffled away to one lucky winner.

Read about how the hunts turned out in a future issue of Lone Star Outdoor News.

LSON would like to thank all of the attendees, our friends at Cinnamon Creek Wild Game Processing, Beretta and all of the advertisers who stopped by to say hello. The crowd has grown every year and this was our most successful fundraiser yet.

Because of your generosity, the LSON Foundation will continue its mission of providing opportunity in the outdoors to people who otherwise would never have the chance to develop a passion for the things we love.

We appreciate all of the support.

The Lone Star Outdoor News Foundation will benefit youth education, create hunting opportunities, and support wildlife research and outdoor journalism.

The LSON Foundation is a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization.
