They just started today gobbling and got two on the ground
@tcoreo we have not heard any reports from there. I’m up near Aspermont. Those birds I just took a pic of came into a feeder. There were 4 long beards and a Jake shadowing 3 hens. They ignored my calls and stuck with the hens. Even with the early spring we seem to be having the birds I’ve experienced in south Texas and here seem to be running a bit later than normal.
Friend had plenty of birds in Sonora last weekend I will be in Jud/Rule area weekend after Easter
