Texas angler breaks largemouth record twice in one night

George Trosper, of Abilene, broke not one, but two bass fishing records twice in one night while fishing atFt. Phantom Hill Reservoir.

Trosper was fishing during a tournament Thursday, when he caught the two hunkers.

The first bass was 24.75 inches and weighed 11.03 pounds. The second topped in at 25.4″ inches and 11.15 pounds making it the new pending lake-record.

The previous lake record was 10.52 pounds and was set in 2010, according to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Trosper released both fish after weights and measurements were taken.
