Texas Archery Academy announces Dallas expansion

by Lili Keys

Texas Archery Academy announced they will be expanding their archery learning path and ranges in the Dallas area with an additional indoor archery training facility located on the southeast corner of Interstate 75 and Walnut Hill.

The facility occupies nearly 12,000 square feet within the ground level retail/parking garage (above is Spec’s Liquor store). The range will be open to the public this month, January 2014.

Texas Archery Academy is a non profit 501(c)(3) sponsored by Texans Archery Club membership.

“The indoor academies are our community outreach,” said Clint Montgomery, executive director. “A portal of access for the public to discover archery. In a controlled indoor environment, the public can come in and shoot a bow. This gives us a chance to make archery accessible to more Texans.”
