BANDED products to hit the shelves

teamAt the S.H.O.T. show in January in Las Vegas, the Lone Star Outdoor News crew learned of a new company set to produce rugged products for waterfowlers and outdoorsmen and women.

But we had to keep it under our hat — until now.

BANDED is up and running. Maxx Outdoors has announced the inaugural launch of BANDED and the unveiling of its new Web site,

Created by a group of avid outdoorsmen, innovators and product designers that joined forces after years of working in the outdoor industry, its objective is to produce better products to deal with outdoor activities that are extremely tough on gear.

Whether it’s leaking waders, a wet gun after a guncase with Velcro straps gives way, or simply design flaws in the gear, BANDED seeks to eliminate the most common problems experienced in the field.

Using military designs, extensive materials testing and stylish designs, BANDED products include outerwear, waders, boots, blinds, calls and hunting accessories. And you’ll notice the use of metal buckles, rivets and components — not plastic.

Currently offering more than 600 items in 19 categories, BANDED says it will continue to provide new, innovative and functional gear for the outdoors.

“The amount of work that has been done by our team in the last nine months is unbelievable,” said CEO and President of BANDED, Jim Hawk III.  “With our diverse product offerings, there’s definitely something for everyone.”

BANDED’s Web site will provide the latest news, information, videos and much more that relates to the diverse line of products offered. BANDED products also will be available at select outdoor retailers throughout the United States and Canada.
