Creating opportunities with Lone Star Outdoor News Foundation

by Lili Keys

Lone Star Outdoor News Foundation provides hunting and fishing opportunities for those of any age who have the passion to hunt or fish, but, like so many, lack the chance to participate.

Wednesday evening (Oct. 4) at 6 p.m., the foundation’s annual fundraiser takes place at the Beretta Gallery in Dallas. Auction and raffle items include an African safari with Global Ubathi Safaris, deer hunts at the Tolson Ranch and the Calhoun Ranch, fishing trips at Lake Fork (including lodging at Sunrise Lodge on Lake Fork) and Rockport, a Beretta Xtreme 400 and much more.

Combine that with incredible wild game prepared by our friends at Cinnamon Creek Wild Game Processing, live music from Ole G (an avid fisherman), free beer from Adelbert’s Brewery, free wine from Total Wine & More and lots of friends, and it’s sure to be a good time!

In the past several years, Lone Star Outdoor News Foundation has taken people on their first deer and dove hunts, resulting in a number of people who now have hunting leases, continue hunting, and some who plan to buy a Texas ranch in their future!

Come and join us!
