Lone Star Outdoor News wraps up 14th year

by Lili Keys

With its August 10 issue, Lone Star Outdoor News completed its 14th year of operation. The issue includes a 44-page Hunting Texas Annual insert.

The issue, available for download today, includes an experience of a lifetime for two kayakers, when one observed a huge school of bull reds in the surf and the other paddled into the middle of the school to fish.

The use of drones are increasing in popularity, and the issue examines whether drones with thermal imaging cameras could be used effectively to help find downed animals.

To see these stories and more, download the August 10 issue of Lone Star Outdoor News and the Hunting Texas Annual here.

Come by and check us out at the Trophy Hunters Extravaganza this weekend in Fort Worth.
