The Sportsmen’s Club of Fort Worth Directors are proud to be hosting their 68th banquet at Dickies Arena on Thursday, Feb. 26.
Over 1200 guests come to our event for the fantastic buffet, open bar, and raffles. We have Live, Featured Silent, and Silent Auctions. Items range from knives to hunts including private jet travel. Several items are for the ladies as well like custom firearms, designer bags, western footwear, jewelry, and other bling.
This would not be possible without the hard work from our directors that volunteer their time and search out donations in order to present such a fantastic array of items. Donations come from local to worldwide businesses. Some of our directors host hunts and or fishing trips on their own ranches. Others have great relationships with outfitters whom they have used over the years that provide us with trips both in the continental United States and around the world for our auction. Tables are still available here.

Besides being one of the biggest annual parties in the Fort Worth area, this event raises money to give back to mostly local charities, schools, camps, and children’s homes in hope of introducing children to the challenges of archery, shooting sports, hunting, fishing, camping, wildlife conservation, and bonding with others face to face instead of relying on social media to develop social skills. We receive grant requests from organizations throughout the year and after being vetted, they are presented to the directors to be voted on at three grant meetings held in April, June, and September.
Besides providing funding for these activities, the directors from time to time will select an entity to provide what we call our Legacy Projects that are never asked for or expected. These are projects including archery ranges that are constructed with galvanized steel, concrete and cinder block. We have provided covered handicap accessible fishing docks, rehabilitated existing facilities, stock and maintain lakes, and other projects that will stand for many years and serve future generations of children.
