With another successful Convention & Expo under its belt, DSC is doing a final tally of the numbers. Again, the show proved to be a successful joint effort of volunteers, exhibitors, donors, attendees, and others who work hard to produce The Greatest Hunters’ Convention on the Planet.

The Convention in early January, held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, welcomed more than 50,000 attendees. Membership is now at an all-time high of 6,339, and the show raised nearly $7.5 million which will fund grants that carry out DSC’s mission and programs.

Legacy Convention Chairs Scott and Debbie Tobermann said, “By all measures, we had another very successful convention − both for the club and for our exhibitors. This was one of the smoothest-running shows in recent memory.”

The Tobermanns both agree: “Chairing the convention has been a hugely gratifying experience for us and being chosen to lead the mighty volunteer army we call the DSC100 is an honor we will always cherish.”

DSC President Craig Nyhus said, “It was great to see people in the hunting community from all over the world. Despite challenges, we saw an increasingly positive outlook from our exhibitors and the people who attended the convention.”
