DSC: The mystery of the bare floors

At the 2022 DSC Convention the questions came in, both from convention attendees and exhibitors — not about the size of the crowd or the success of the show — but from those with sore feet from walking the miles of halls at the DSC convention. Why is there no carpet in the aisles this year? Is DSC cutting costs and getting cheap? No, it turns out, it’s for health reasons. According to the convention center, the aisles were left in bare concrete for the show this year to allow steam cleaners to cruise the aisles each night with the goal of eliminating bacteria and, of course, Omicron. Mystery solved.
